Photography Workshop

2 hours and counting - I'm pretty stoked! This will be my first photography workshop of any sort and I'm really looking forward to it. It's a 4 hour workshop run by my buddy Dave Hamilton covering light control. Couldn't have come at a better time either because I just recently picked up 2 speedlites, a set of wireless remotes and an umbrella. Really hoping to walk away with a swollen brain. The workshop runs from 1:00PM - 5:00PM in gastown at Iron Works Studio. Speaking of which I should get moving. I'll be heading to West Vancouver after the worksthop to shoot some car photos so stay tuned! Should have photos up later tonight. Enjoy your Saturday and pray for some good weather ;)

False Creek Panoramic

Yesterday was quite possibly the nicest day of the year yet! I woke up around 7:15AM to say good bye to Emme as she made her way out the door to work. The sun was shining, my coffee was as delicious as ever and my computer was patiently waiting for me to turn it on. Although, there was a problem! It was far too nice of a day to be sitting in front of the computer. I loaded up my camera gear, hopped on a bus and read this months issue of Popular Photography as I headed towards DT Vancouver. My day began at the Broadway/Cambie skytrain station along the Canada Line. I'll share some more photos when I get home but for now here's a teaser - a 12 image hand-held portrait style panoramic standing on the Cambie St. bridge. Enjoy! :)
